Avui, com ja ho indica el títol, la meva publicació tracta de la cançó de Michel Jackson que va publicar el 1991 dins de l’àlbum Dangerou.

Michel Jackson va patí una malaltia cutània degenerativa anomenada vitiligeni que afecta a la pigmentació de la pell i que és hereditària com va fer públic la seva germana, Toya Jackson, fa poc temps.

Per aquest motiu, va ser mot criticat pel seu canvi d’aparença ja que es creia que Michel no volia ser negre. Els seus maquilladors van desmentir aquesta idea sobre Michel tot i que altres amics la confirmen. En una entrevista que li van fer al cantant va afirmar molt orgullosament: «Soy un americano negro. Estoy orgulloso de mi raza. Estoy orgulloso de ser quien soy.»
